Feet First is a family-owned and operated business that's celebrating its 34th year as New Orleans' largest independent shoe and accessory store!  If you're not impressed yet, we've also been voted as Best Shoe Store by Gambit Weekly readers 3 years in a row--2009, 2010, and 2011!

All this being said, Feet First proudly maintains the tagline 'Shoe Lust, Handbag Envy' as a  reminder to our customers, new and familiar faces alike, that we are more than just shoes.  No matter a woman's age, Feet First Stores is New Orleans' epicenter of Women's Fashion, and this blog will keep you in the loop of everything we have to offer.

This blog exists to satisfy Fashion Curiosity to the fullest!  Want to know what's trending in our stores among shoppers and staff?  Are you madly in love with a particular style or look but don't quite know how to execute it? All this we shall provide--and then some! We want to offer our readers and fellow bloggers only the freshest of the fresh in fashion buzz:  the Now's, Where's, and Who's-Who of brands and trends, new in-store arrivals, fashion how-to's, and much more!

Why Going Lacy Isn't Too Racy.

A textured pattern on a shoe can be intimidating, even if you're a fan of classic textiles.  However, lace isn't something to shy away from, because it's much more versatile than first meets the eye! 

The Derrin can serve as your signature piece (the key piece that ties an outfit together and makes it you) with an outfit as low key as a plain, loose-fitting blouse with a pair of dark denim jeans, or if you're dressed to the nines in a champagne or black cocktail dress for an extra feminine touch.
